The past few years have seen Emma Roberts emerge as an up and coming young actress in films like It’s Kind Of A Funny Story. Her next project, the Scott Coffey directed Adult World, sounds like a good opportunity for her to continue to put kiddie fare like Nancy Drew and Hotel For Dogs even further in her rearview. Adult World centers around a post-grad who aspires to be a poet but gets stuck working in a small bookstore. With a name like Adult World and a setting like a bookstore, is it a stretch to think it might be about an ADULT bookstore? Look, I’m just sayin’. I’m not gross! I’m just supposin’ over here.
